Jana Nayagan (Tamil pronunciation: [d?ana? n?a?jagan]; transl.?People's Hero) is a 2026 Indian Tamil-language political action thriller film[5] directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions. The film stars the Honourable Chief Minister Of Tamil Nadu C. Joseph Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Mamitha Baiju, alongside Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain and Priyamani. A partial remake of the 2023 Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari, it was the final film appearance of Vijay before his transition into politics and the first film to be released after he became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It was also the first production of KVN Productions in Tamil cinema. The film follows a former police officer who raises his late friend's daughter and encourages her to overcome her childhood trauma to join the Indian Army. However, his personal mission evolves into a high-stakes battle for justice when he is forced to confront corrupt forces threatening democracy.
